Historic win for Bangladesh

Bangladesh clinched their first ever overseas series win (in Test Cricket), when they defeated West Indies by 6 wickets in the second test match. Stand-in-Captain Shakib Al Hasan scored a brilliant 96* to take the game away from the West Indies team. Darren Sammy tried very hard & took 5 wickets out of the 6 wickets fallen. Raqibul Hasan also played an outstanding innings to shoulder his captain.

Earlier, West Indies were bowled out on a meager total of 209, thanks mainly to excellent bowling by the spinners, specially the captain Shakib Al Hasan. He took 5 West Indian wickets & Enamul Haq (Junior) supported him well with 3 wickets.

Shakib Al Hasan was the only choice left for the Man of the Match & Man of the Series Awards.
