Continuous rain ensures India’s series win

India won the four match ODI series 2-1 after torrential rain terminated the fourth ODI. With this win India have won their fifth straight ODI series. The previous four came against Sri Lanka (twice), England & New Zealand.

The game got off to a delayed start and M S Dhoni made the obvious decision to bowl on a damp pitch that offered some help to the fast bowlers. Ishant Sharma dismissed the West Indies Captain Chris Gayle and along with Ashish Nehra, didn't allow the Windies to get off to a breezy start. But before, much could happen rain stopped the play & didn’t allow the Windies to level the series.

Earlier, India defeated West Indies in the rain-hit third ODI in an exciting finish. Indian batsmen came to party with Gautam Gambhir, Dinesh Karthik & skipper M S Dhoni scored brilliant 40s to ensure the Indian lead in the series.
